Make Your First Steps Towards Better Living.
All of our properties are decorated to a very high standard. They are kept clean and tidy. First of all they are homely and welcoming – young people often choose ornaments and pictures themselves. The houses are self-contained and come equipped with washing facilities, cooking facilities and a fridge freezer.
They are fully furnished and each young person’s room is equipped with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV and desk with chair. Living areas contain sofas, coffee table, dining table, chairs, and large TV. Kitchens are fully kitted out with kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery and utensils.
Support Health Care Supported Living
The properties are fitted with fire extinguishers, fire blankets and smoke alarms and these are checked monthly to ensure our young people are safe. All of our properties are safety checked regularly and our shared houses have a fire risk assessment and health and safety audit completed annually. Gas and electric safety certificates are carried out annually.
We provide standalone accommodation in the form of studio flats and 1-bed flats.
Our bespoke 1-1 placements are housed in our 2 bed properties. The young person will occupy one bedroom and our staff member will occupy the other bedroom which is locked for security reasons. All of our shared houses are staffed 24 hours a day. They are also fitted with CCTV, which our staff on-site monitors.
All young people have their own room which is lockable for their own privacy and comes with the use of shared kitchen and washing facilities.
Our shared houses have communal lounges and dining areas, which we use to encourage our young people to engage in group activities such as eating together, games and movie nights. We provide a TV, bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a desk in each bedroom.
All young people receive a Welcome Pack with important information about the local area, and how the house works, including 24-hour on-call support.
